Art Bazaar
On 24th November 2019, in Visakhapatnam India, an “Art Bazaar” was organised by Mr Kattakuri Ravi at R. K. Beach.
The purpose of this event was to provide a platform for artists to present their work, meet fellow artists, and share their views.
Ms Sravani Dhulipala of our community took part in the event and presented her work. When asked about her interest in taking part in this event, Ms Sravani informed us, “There were many reasons. Except for the most obvious ones, firstly, I wanted to meet other artists in Vizag because I hardly know anyone.
Secondly, I love to attend normal art expos which are open to the general public. Unfortunately, most of the art expos in Vizag are confined to a class of people who can afford to buy their way into the event. I dislike the extravagance and prefer these instead.”
Adding to it, Ms Sravani also stated, “On a personal level, I wanted to find a companion with whom I could talk about art even after this event.”
With more than ninety members presenting their paintings in this open event, Ms Sravani mentioned, “I want to thank my friend Swetha for letting me know about the event. I would also like to thank all my well-wishers who took the time to visit the expo, especially the children. They made my day, and I felt so gratified noticing their excitement towards art. I’m always happy to see a little one inspired to do art!”
We hope that more artists will be welcomed and encouraged in the years to come. On behalf of our team, we would like to extend our gratitude to Mr Kattakuri Ravi and all the volunteers for organising such a fantastic event!
